Entitlements Full conference registration entitles you to: admission to all conference sessions (including Wednesday workshops)* a ticket to the welcome reception* a ticket to the conference dinner* a conference satchel morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea daily. *Please indicate attendance via the registration form. Social functions Tickets to the social functions are included in the full conference registration (but not day and student registrations) as outlined below; however, you must indicate whether you will attend the social functions when you register. Conference Dinner Date: Friday 25 May 2018 Venue: Adelaide Convention Centre Tickets: included in registration for full conference delegates A limited number of additional tickets are available for $125.00. Accommodation ACORN has booked rooms and apartments at nearby hotels for the benefit of conference participants. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation when you register to ensure that you receive competitive rates, negotiated for delegates. Accommodation can be booked via the registration form and must be paid in full. Please see the accommodation page for more information. Payment Registration will be confirmed when payment is received. Payment methods Payment can be made by any of the following methods: Credit card ( Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club): If you are making a credit card payment from a country outside Australia, for security reasons you must first advise your banking institution of the impending charge and authorise them to allow the charge to Australia to go through. Please note that charges to your credit card will appear as being from 'ACORN' on your bank statement. Bank transfer: Please include your surname in the transfer and email or fax the transfer receipt (remittance) to email address: conference2018@acorn.org.au or fax number: +61 8 7111 0719 (from outside Australia) or 1300 781 934 (from within Australia). Cheque / Bank draft: Make cheques and bank drafts payable to ACORN Conference. Payment must be made in Australian dollars and free of all charges. Payment deadlines Registrations received by 26 March 2018 must be paid in full by 26 March 2018 in order to receive the early bird registration rate. Registration cancellation policy Deadline: 11 April 2018 Cancellations must be notified in writing (email is sufficient) to the Conference and Administration Officer at annabel.holliss@acorn.org.au. Cancellations made by 11 April 2018 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. Refunds for cancellations received after 11 April 2018 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 11 April 2018 without incurring any cost penalty. The Conference and Administration Officer must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers. Disclaimer All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The conference committee and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The organising committee, ACORN staff and volunteers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organising committee, ACORN staff and volunteers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft of or damage to belongings.
